Happy Holidays and Best Wishes for 2018!
I hope you’ve had a wonderful and productive year. I’ve certainly been busy this year and want to take this opportunity to share some of my most exciting 2017 adventures and thrilling 2018 plans with you!
I’m back in New York!
After seven years in Edinburgh, Scotland, I’ve completed my PhD in Film Studies at the University of Edinburgh and have shipped my life, my cats and my animation studio across the tumultuous waters of the Atlantic back to the New World. Edinburgh’s haunted streets will always have a special place in my heart but it’s been a pleasure revisiting my favorite childhood spots and getting to know New York all over again.
2017 has officially made me a published author.
My debut novel, Digging in the Stars was released by Blaze Publishing in March and I’ve recently completed the first full draft for the sequel. I’m already planning out Book 3 and hope to be able to share more details in the coming months.
A long-gestating film project is nearing completion.
The Green Wall, a stop-motion/live-action experimental short film about a young girl seeking artistic fulfillment in a mythic fantasy world created in her imagination will be released in 2018. In development since
2014, this project has gone through some intense re-conceptualization, to update its relevance and symbolic content. In 2017, I completed some necessary pick-up photography and reshoots and am preparing the film for a 2018 release!

I’m developing a number of secret projects in various media that will incorporate my backgrounds in illustration, film history and archaeology. That’s all I’m saying now, but keep an eye out for updates in 2018!
