Meet my newest character!
He’s a product of a top secret Nazi Project code named “OPERATION ICHTYANDER”. The goal was to create an underwater army by enhancing human bodies with the organs and DNA of deep sea creatures. The Ichtyanders escaped from their lab at the end of WWII. My story is set ten years later in 1955, when we learn that the victims of the experiments have survived and founded an underwater village amid shipwrecks on the ocean floor. The movement among the younger generation to return to the surface and adapt to modern life brings them to the attention of Nazis in hiding and treasure-hunting gangsters. Their story is full of drama and dark humor, as they strive to understand a world that rejects and others them.
